Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website www.maceira.nl (the “Service”) operated by Sandra Maceira (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.


Products and Descriptions

We strive to present all jewelry products as accurately as possible. However, due to the handmade nature of our designs and differences in screen settings, slight variations in color, design, or size may occur.

Order Process

Maceira offers jewelry and design motifs either directly or through third-party agents to retailers and consumers.

• All orders are binding once placed and will be confirmed by an official Order Confirmation.
• A price quote will be issued after the order is received, valid for 7 days.
• Production will only begin once a minimum 50% deposit has been received.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full before shipment.

Purchases

To make a purchase through our Service, you may be required to provide personal and payment information. You confirm that:


• You are legally authorized to use the chosen payment method;
• The information provided is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to cancel any order for reasons including pricing errors, fraud suspicion, or unavailability.

Delivery Times & Costs

• Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed unless otherwise specified in writing.
• We offer free worldwide shipping.
• Customers are responsible for any customs, taxes, or import duties imposed by their country.
• We are not liable for delays caused by customs procedures.
• All orders ship from the Netherlands.

Delivery Times & Costs

• The item must be undamaged and in resellable condition.
• Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
• Use an insured and trackable courier; we are not responsible for lost return shipments.
If an item arrives damaged, you must:
• Notify us within 24 hours with clear photographs.
• Damage due to shipping must be reported immediately.
• Faulty items (manufacturing defects only) will be repaired or replaced within 3 months of purchase.
• Wear-and-tear damage is not covered under warranty.
Each case is individually assessed.

Returns & Exchanges

All Maceira pieces are made-to-order. Therefore, we do not accept returns or offer refunds, except in cases of defect or if agreed otherwise in writing by Maceira.
If a return is approved:


• The item must be undamaged and in resellable condition.

• Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

• Use an insured and trackable courier; we are not responsible for lost return shipments.


If an item arrives damaged, you must:


• Notify us within 24 hours with clear photographs.

• Damage due to shipping must be reported immediately.

• Wear-and-tear damage is not covered under warranty.

Right of Withdrawal / Custom Products

Please note: As our jewelry is custom-made to order and tailored to individual specifications, the legal right of withdrawal (herroepingsrecht) does not apply. This is in accordance with Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code and applicable EU consumer law.

Ring Sizing

We produce rings in standard European sizes. Choosing the correct ring size is the customer's responsibility. Finger size can vary due to temperature, time of day, or personal preference. Please follow our sizing tips carefully.

Availability, Errors & Inaccuracies

Product details may occasionally contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. We reserve the right to:


• Correct any errors;

• Change information or pricing without prior notice;
• Cancel any order if inaccurate details affect a sale.

Promotions

All contests or promotions may have additional rules, which apply alongside or in place of these Terms. Please refer to individual promotion terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Service is the intellectual property of Maceira and its licensors. You may not reproduce, use, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:


• Indirect or incidental damages;

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill;

• Issues arising from third-party content or transactions;

• Website downtime or errors.


Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent Dutch court unless otherwise agreed.
